Anne Williams opened Lakeside Manual Physical Therapy 2002 and Mountainside Physical Therapy in 2008. Anne has been a physical therapist for 30 years focusing on the use and techniques of manual physical therapy with the goal of promoting optimal function of individuals challenged by pain and disability; whether acute or chronic in nature.  Anne strives to provide and promote education to the public to facilitate wellness through prevention and healing.  Mountainside Physical Therapy and Lakeside Manual Physical Therapy provide environments which offer a team approach, expanding and sharing knowledge in the pursuit of optimizing patient care.

Anne earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Sport Medicine, Cum Laude in April, 1990, from Radford University.  In June, 1993, Anne earned her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware.

In 2011 Anne opened Mountainside Dance Center in Washington, VA.

In her free time Anne enjoys spending time with her husband Dennis on their horse farm.

Episode 031 : Annie Williams

Annie Williams operates two physical therapy facilities in rural Virginia. And her places are special, serving as popular neighborhood gathering spots. Her clients hang out there, having fun as they learn about health and well-being. Beyond having therapy, they take classes, do exercise and find themselves engaged in activities they never expected, like dancing.
