Creative Dance ages 4 to 8

Creative Dance and Movement is designed to help children discover movement, spacial awareness, rhythm and form. Emphasis in class is on exploration and experimentation in a cooperative atmosphere. There are 3 class levels. Placement is primarily according to age or instructor’s approval. Level one will incorporate movement that is fun, often with music. Level two, will do the same but the movements will become more complex. Level three is a continuation of level two, but more improvisation, references to modern dance and ballet (known as “pre-dance” or “pre-ballet”), will be included.

“Fall with Grace” Class.

Mondays at 10:15-11:00am

“FALL with GRACE” is a facilitated class for those at risk of losing balance and falling, those who have a fear of falling when mobile .  We teach students balance and coordination techniques, and exercises to strengthen the body, how to regain focus if balance is lost, awareness of center of balance, and how to avert and prevent falls.  In short, we help our clients take control of their lives and get back in balance.

All clients must be in an exercise class or program.  This can be the Therapeutic Movement Class or any class.
